Last updated: 1 September 2026 Status: Draft pending counsel and management approval. Not approved for publication or customer reliance.
These notices summarise the intended Product source, third-party software, maintenance, scope, and release-readiness boundaries for the entity trading as LLM Machines. The exact legal entity, licensor, and copyright holder remain pending verification. Binding rights arise only from the exact delivered licence text, applicable upstream licences, signed agreements, and release materials.
1. First-party Product source
The complete Product is not offered as a single open-source work. The approved licensing model for original first-party LLM Machines Product source is the unmodified PolyForm Internal Use License 1.0.0, making that original first-party source available for the licence's permitted internal use.
The delivered licence permits Customer internal business use and internal changes and new works based on the delivered First-Party Product Source. It does not permit distribution, sublicensing, or transfer of that licence to another party. The exact licence text delivered with the Product controls.
2. Third-party software and model material
Third-party applications, libraries, images, vendored source, upstream-derived source, and other upstream material remain governed by their existing upstream licences. The PolyForm licence does not replace, narrow, or relabel an upstream licence or its notice, source, and redistribution obligations.
Model weights and model licences remain separate from both First-Party Product Source and third-party software licences. The applicable release materials identify the delivered component, licence, notice, and SBOM boundaries.
3. Maintenance is separate from delivered rights
Maintenance entitlement governs paid access to future qualified releases, recovery retrieval, and support as stated in the signed agreement. An ACTIVE, GRACE, or FROZEN maintenance state does not stop an existing Appliance, invalidate an already delivered source licence, or expire an exported recovery capsule.
Customer modifications may fall outside the supported configuration. The signed MSA, Order Form, licence schedule, and release documentation must state the support, warranty, update, and recovery consequences without narrowing the delivered source licence.
4. Material outside the Product source licence
- third-party software and upstream-derived source governed by an upstream licence;
- model weights and model licences;
- Customer data, credentials, private keys, and workload content;
- LLM Machines names, trademarks, logos, and brand assets;
- website editorial and creative content unless expressly licensed;
- signing keys, certificates, and private release infrastructure; and
- Customer-specific commissioning configuration.
Copyright © 2026 LLM Machines. The "all rights reserved" statement applies only to website editorial and creative content, LLM Machines branding, and other material expressly excluded from the Product source licence and owned by LLM Machines, except where a separate licence or third-party right applies. It does not replace or narrow the PolyForm licence for First-Party Product Source or any upstream licence for third-party material.
5. Product and customer-application boundary
The standard Product boundary covers the Product edge, managed private inference, documented Models and Chat Completions APIs, identity and credentials, operational Console, observability, lifecycle, backup, recovery, and supported controls described for the applicable qualified release.
Chat Completions is the documented API protocol that Customer-selected applications and harnesses use to access approved local models. The Customer selects and operates the connected application, with any LLM Machines integration work separately scoped.
Customer-selected applications, their interfaces, data, permissions, tool effects, and workflows remain Customer-owned. Optional application or workflow integration requires a separate Statement of Work with measurable acceptance and documented post-handoff ownership.
6. Source Genesis is not Release 1
A source Genesis, repository, image build, or lab deployment is not by itself a qualified release or production acceptance. Product availability, component identity, compatibility, capacity, security, update, and recovery claims must be tied to the exact signed Release 1 manifest and its acceptance evidence.
No statement on this draft page claims a certification, universal compatibility, production-capacity result, or completed customer deployment.
7. Publication blockers
- counsel approval of unmodified PolyForm Internal Use License 1.0.0 for the verified licensor and intended jurisdictions;
- verification of the exact legal entity, licensor, and copyright holder;
- a decision on any separate grant required for named Customer contractors;
- complete first-party and third-party source classification, notices, and upstream obligations;
- agreement among Product licence, Terms, MSA, Order Form, entitlement, recovery, onboarding, and release materials; and
- management, Product, and legal approval of the final publication package.
Until those blockers are closed, this page, the Trust Center, and the Terms & Conditions remain draft and noindex.
